At our organization, we recognize the growing issue of loneliness among elderly individuals in Europe, as well as the housing challenges faced by young immigrants pursuing education in their university destinations. In response, we have developed a unique program aimed at fostering intergenerational connections and addressing housing needs. 

Our innovative program pairs elderly individuals seeking companionship and assistance with young immigrants in search of suitable accommodation near their study or university destinations. Through this mutually beneficial arrangement, elderly residents provide affordable housing options while offering invaluable companionship and support to their younger counterparts. 

In return, young people contribute to the household through various means, such as assistance with daily tasks, companionship, and cultural exchange. This symbiotic living arrangement not only addresses the pressing housing needs of young immigrants but also alleviates the loneliness experienced by many elderly individuals in our communities. 

Together, we are creating a vibrant and inclusive living environment where generations come together to support and learn from one another, fostering mutual understanding, empathy, and connection.
